Obedience work builds the necessary skill for dog and pet parent to work together, building experience and relationship to perform as a team. The dog will learn basic obedience skills that will provide a foundation for a behaved pet in the household and / or set the base for expansion of these skills into more advanced learning, such as scent work, rally, agility, and advanced obedience, etc...
*Canine Good Citizen (CGC) through the American Kennel Club (AKC) is a 10 skill test that teaches good manners to dogs and responsible dog ownership to their owners. The goal of a Canine Good Citizen is that your dog is relaxed, safe and under control in public. These tests / titles are open to all dogs - purebred or mixed. We are certified evaluators for the series of CGC tests available and even have classes dedicated to teaching the skills necessary to pass these tests.
In addition, having at least the CGC title may be helpful when you: Need to apply for a property, rental, homeowners or dog health insurance, traveling with your dog and when locating accommodations.

Private Lessons allow us to come to your home or designated location, teaching you and your dog the skills necessary to create a solid foundation of obedience and manners.
We have private lesson packages of 6 and 8 sessions that would be a wonderful option to get started.
Once initial training has been started, you can also get your dog into one of our group classes (indoors / outdoors) that will take the concepts in private training and help your dog be able to practice what they have learned in a fun group environment with other dogs and people.
We have group class packages of 6 and 12 sessions that would be great additional training to socialize and set the training concepts and skills for a happy and well adjusted family member.
